Horizon TV -
This 30-minute show is a collection of segments
created to inform the community about the people, places and programs in
the State College Area School District. The production of Horizon TV
results from a partnership between the school district, C-NET, and Penn
State. The segments are produced by Penn State students enrolled in
Communications 383 in cooperation with the school district faculty and
staff. C-NET staff performs the final editorial adjustments and assembly
of the program with input from the school district administration. A new
episode is produced each PSU semester and the show premiers on Mondays at
7 p.m.
Words that Cook –
This is a 30-minute syndicated program that
provides parents of children up to 12 years old with researched-based
tips, tools, techniques and activities that help bring literacy into
children's lives. The educator-produced program features an array of
guests including experts, authors, illustrators, storytellers, poets, and
more. The weekly air times are Sunday at 2:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., Monday at
10:30 a.m., Tuesday at 10 p.m., Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. and Saturday at
